Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Serving the Tri-Parish Catholic Communities of Ballston Lake, Glenville, and Scotia, NY

At the heart of our Catholic faith is the belief that Jesus Christ is truly present—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—in the Holy Eucharist. Through Eucharistic Adoration, we are invited to encounter Christ in a deeply personal and powerful way.

The Tri-Parish Catholic Communities—serving Immaculate Conception (Glenville), St. Joseph’s (Scotia), and Our Lady of Grace (Ballston Lake)—joyfully offer opportunities for the faithful to adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

What is Eucharistic Adoration?

Eucharistic Adoration is a Roman Catholic devotion where the consecrated Host, the Blessed Sacrament, is displayed in a monstrance on the altar for silent worship and prayer. It is a time of peaceful reflection, heartfelt intercession, and loving communion with the Lord.

In the stillness of Adoration, we respond to Jesus’ invitation:

“Could you not keep watch with me for one hour?” – Matthew 26:40

Whether you seek clarity, peace, healing, or simply wish to rest in God’s presence, Adoration is a grace-filled moment to be with Christ.

Why Eucharistic Adoration Matters

In the silence of Adoration, we are transformed. The world is noisy and fast-paced—Eucharistic Adoration offers a sacred pause.

Benefits of regular Adoration include:

  • Deepening your relationship with Jesus

  • Receiving spiritual strength and inner peace

  • Growing in love for the Eucharist and the Mass

  • Praying for loved ones, vocations, and our world

  • Encountering the mercy and love of God in a personal way
